View Full Version : animation: cylinders playing with ball
Faraguay 01-10-2003, 01:36 PM Hello.
In this link (http://www.faraguay3d.net/movidas/palitos.avi) you can find a very simple animation I've done for a challenge. It's really simple and short (15 secs, 500kb-).
I'm not an animator but I liked the idea and gave it a try. It's the first time I do something like this and would like to know some opinions from you (only 500kb!!:bounce: ).
Ok, enough bla bla.
Thanks for your replies!!

Very sweet. Excellent timing you've got there.
And it reminded me a lot of my time with Pong.

Nice one....
But i dont like that the camera rotates that much around the cylinder in the end...
Maybe just do a 180 degres rotation instead of the 540.
I almost got a litle dissy there.

Wow! How many comments!:bounce: Thanks everybody!
I really apreciate you've taken the time to watch it... and post some comment.
Remi: thanks for your compliment. Hello to the people in the studio...;)
Calle:
colt: I think timing is the most important quality of an animation... thanks man. Oh... sorry but I can't remember Pong...
Firebird: At a first try the camera rotated 180º but I thought it wasn't enough and made it rotate 360º more... But I didn't get the result I was looking for anyway... Very difficult for my skills now.
rollmops: I think you exagerate... thanks man. :)
nose: I'm practising for one of those realistic-looking short I want to make... :D But I enjoyed a lot making this one. A very good exercise, I think.
McSpirit, LoneLobo, pigwater: :buttrock: Thanks guys
jarch: hehehe. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Nice compliment.

I meant it is just a good alternate to those realistics. Not that they're not good, they can be very good either. It's just cool to see something else from time to time. But I'm very curious about your upcoming movies too!

Wow! Great timing and planning of the animation. The build up of tension was really good - I laughed out loud on the final 'shot'.
