Hi everybody...

It's quite some time since I've become a member of this forum.. Saw lot's of fine peaces of art, but allmost never sent somthing my self... So I've decided to make somthing for my self and for other to watch.. Well Actually I want to try to study some animation arts. So I'v made this simple model of an alien, enveloped it and now will try to animate it... :wip:

hellblazer: I've made this light glow effect in photoshop with a help of kai's power tool - equilizer... (Its a quick way) But if you don't have this plug'in you could easily make very similar effect by dublicating your image couple of times (3 times for starters) then make strong (15-25 pixels) gausien blur for the top layer and change the its mode from normal to overlay. Then to the second 2 layers you also need to add gausien blur, but not as strong as for the overlay layer (5-15 pixels). Then you should make the layer about visable only about 25%. Same way you should add filter to the last dublicate only make it less blurry add even less visable.

Manipulating with these you can achieve desiered result...

... Hi again ...

I've finished some more images of my character.. This time there is a little bit more of contrast renders.

Soon I'll post first steps of my character...

Hi again..

This time everything is in motion :bounce:
I've made my character move it's first steps..

Now you can call it ANIMATERD :applause: :rolleyes:

Well Actually it's nothing serious.. I actully didn't think of how I will animate my character.. Or what it'll do...

Mabe some one got any ideas of a simple animation for it to preform? I'll try to make it push a box nex... But for now it's all...
Any suggestions? :shrug:

great little alien dude,, the suite reminds me of Tron,, hehe kinda
Thanks for the Photoshop trick,, might try that out..
the animations are cool also, I like the added camera movements in the second one.
