sorry to interfere. Just to add some background in the name you have chosen. Icarus was the son of Daedalus, a sculptor that was kept imprisoned on an island by a king who never wanted Daedalus to leave, cos he wanted him to sculpt him sculptures. Daedalus thought of a way to leave the island. He used wax and feathers from birds, to build wings, a pair for him and one for his son. They went flying over a sea, and Daedalus warned his son to stay away from the sun, but Icarus went too high, the wax melted and he fell into the sea and drowned. By that day (till today) that sea is called "Icario Pelagos" Icarium Sea. (don't know if this helps in ANY way)

thanx diazgl, that was interesting information! Here is a scetch of my demon, he used to be a Centaurus leader who got very greedy and led his army into loss and bloodshed while fighting for one of the gods. As he lost and caused his army to perish the god he was serving punished him by ripping his body in half, dislocating it from the horse part, and sent him to be a servant to the god of the underworld. As he surved his new god he gradually became mutated in to the creature that he is now. Because he had lived with constant pain from the wound that was inflicted he bacame very non-human and evil far from the great leader that he used to be. Now his only purpose is to bring fear and death to the normal realm.

i like the background to your story. Think about giving him a long neck. Long neck dudes are freaky.

..or you could make him more human like, give the feeling that he WAS once human you know? use your imagination to combine a freak (like an ogre) with a human being and I think that would make a really great demon, just a thought (eh diaz?) overall really great job keep up the good work will ya :P

funny though. I like your story very much.
Here's an idea (just for inspiration).
There was a movie in the 70's (here I go dating myself again!:D ) called Clash of the Titans. The character CALIBOS (the one who steals the princess) sounds a lot like the one you are describing. You might want to take a look at it ... just for inspiration.

henry: Thanx, I might just do that, but the thingt is he wasnt really human in the first place, but I still see what you are saying.

the Rev: maybe I will watch that movie. To the video store! and punished for stealing the princess sounds interesting :)

Update: I didnt get much work done last night at all, real life keeps me away from 3D. I've done the arms and now moving to the hands, and by the way thanx for all the comments.
