I found an old audio file on 10second club that intrigued me.. so while not eligible for the current contest, i thought id play with it.

I haven't done much secondary animation on the second figure yet, obviously, but mainly im looking for some critique of the animation ive done so far on the main yellow guy.

Be brutal please, but constructive. If it sucks, fine, but please tell me why. ;)

I broke up and polished the main char animation a bit, and added in more secondary animation with the secondary character. Any more comments/crits?

More work on the shaking part of the animation, as well as adjusting the composition a bit.

Looking good so far. Only thing that bugs me, is the twinning of the arms/hands. Great start!

Hi Xode,

I think the timing of the motions is ok but the poses in general could be more interesting.

- The initial pose, it looks like his left hand is holding up his elbow rather than the right arm resting on it (was that what you were going for?). I think it could be fixed if you had the left hand right up against his body and have the palm face inwards and somewhat clenched.
- The position of the legs look a tad unnatural to me too...it's not often you find someone, while in a conversation, standing with 2 feet facing straight on. Maybe have his weight shifted to one side and vary the feet postions? This would show that he's casual at the start and contrast it to when he snaps.
- I think the part when he snaps...it's too gradual. Maybe make it more snappy and also the shaking abit faster.

Thanks :) No, not too much, it gives me someplace to go and you've caught things that while I did notice, I thought i had already fixed them.. Guess that means that my fixes arent apparent enough :) Back to work!

Well its been a few weeks since I've had time to work on this.. but heres the next update. Please if anyone has more crits or comments I would love to hear them.
