Hi there,

I've been reading these forum for a few months now, but have only just started experimenting with 3dsm. I needed to make an ice cube (i know, probably nice and simple for you lot, but it took me ages)

Heres the finished image, was just wondering if anyone had any input, or anythigng obvious ive missed to make it more realistic.

anyway, i`ll probably be frequenting this board more often now, so nice to meet you all.

this is a nice render, particularly for one of your first. Just a few things that I have noticed that may help it go the extra mile. To me the ice seems to be hollow, ussually ice has changes clarity, and often has a white center, or top, bottom, ect. Crab one from your freezer. Ice also has a slight reflection to it, and should reflect the environment alittle.

Other than that good work man keep it up, and keep us posted!
