this is my bumble-b concept car, the colours were supposed to be yellow and black but i liked these more,

this thread got deleted earlier cuz i 4got you couldnt link to other pages, someone commented on it but i didnt get the chance to read it

i know about being able to see through some parts of the car, mostly my lighting stup prevents this but it didnt this time and since the renders each took about 3 hours each i do not wanna render them again and just move on hehe

the modeling was done in rhino3d and rendered with the rhinoman plugin using bmrt,

i know you guys are not fan of no background, no tex images but i just dont know how to do that, or im just to lazy to find out, if anyone got a link to a tutorial on how to learn that i would be happy to know, very happy,

p.s. any chance of a flat render so we can see the details? just cause i like the feet, good thinking, but hard too see as theres a lot of noise... maybe needs AA switch higher?

well, the polycount is over 1 mil, (rhino nurbs are hard to bring down)

heres a wireframe, also, i am not i repeat not ging to put the aa any higher cuz that damn aa made these render times so damn high, also, the noise was caused cuz of ps when bringing down the file size till 40, man that is hard, anyways, heres the wire,....

Lovely design but I doubt the driver can see anything because of the high front. :/ Maybe you should higher the middle and the rear body? :wip:

the design's a bit too busy, and the bonnet's way too low to accommodate any kind of reasonable engine.

Send it to Chrysler. This is gonna be the new Viper ;)

...uhhh a very BIG car.

The front looks a litle like from the tvr tuscan

How long is that car??? 5m ? And the wheelbase...Uhhh 3m ? :)

Regards, Daniel.

im not sure if a valid crit is to say "the design's a bit too busy", but i agree about the engine dealie...

Model looks awsome.

One little point about the renders themselves:

Your camera is Isometric. There is no FOV, therefore, it's not a perspective view.

Don't know if you understand what I'm saying, or if you posted this intentionally like this, but if you want your image to really jump out and grab the viewer(as well as look realistic), use a proper camera.

ah thanks for all the feedback all,

calle, look at the relation of the chair and the front, more than enough if you ask me,

null, thats a good point, you know when you get all up in modeling you start forgetting these things hehe,

daniel, out of all the cars with front engine and rounded headlights, you had to pick a tvr, WHY??!!! i will not say hate but i dis-like tvr's except the speed 12 but ive seen the tuscan in real life and looks like a tiny car to me,

3DZealot, i think i did, lemme go check, yeah i thought so, i used a 65mm cam, i hardly go for 35 cuz that deformes the car too much but maybe the next time i could go for 50 or 55,

thanks for all the feedback and pointers, ill keep that in mind next time,....

sabaman: What kind pc do you have? I use rhino3d + rhinoman + bmrt and every rendering takes loooong time. My pc is 1Ghz amd Tb 256MB. Even simple things takes very long time to render. Maybe there is something wrong at the setup I dont know. Sorry the bad english

U just need some Time :)
TVR's don't look that bad ;)

I bough a Speed12 Scale Model...Just because it's unusual design. (Together with a Mustang Cobra R)

I realy think about to model a TVR Tamora :p

hehe..Cya.

pete, i dont know whats wrong with you settings but maybe it could be the aa, when i put it high my renders also take forever

daniel, lets call it a matter of opinion hehe,...

he most likely said looks like a tvr for the fact that the tuscan has very simular cutout lights in the front...

Well Saba bud,, just wanted to say a few more words on your design, I love it very creative and shows your not limited, you show your expaneding in design, The design is very tight,, as in it like a woman with very tight cloths on,, I would believe an engine with a flat six with a dry sump that would lower the motor allot,, that would fit nicely in there.

anyhow very sexy shape, You know me, I love this stuff.

Dude, raise it up a bit and highten the profile on the wheels and youll have a damn fine car, till then your skilled, but a bit of a goof. :)
