Jurenic 01-10-2003, 07:43 AM Does anyone know a tutorial for creating a skydome, or can you tell me how to do it. And also, how to make completly white rooms in max.

1/ Create an sphere (hemisphere= 0.5)
2/ Add Edit Mesh modifier. Select the hole flat face. Delete it.
3/ Create a material with a Difuse Map containing a sky image.
Don't forget activate 2side option.
4/ Add UVW Map to objetc. Apply a spheric map and adjust
the position of the gizmo.
5/ Be care of the joining line of the image on the surface.
If you see the join at rendering, rotate the object 90/180 degrees to avoid it.
Well, I work with Viz 3 in spanish, maybe some word is not
exactly this way, but you'll understand. And I hope you understand my english.
