I'm not saying its any more interesting. The Portfolios system is something we've been wanting to do for a long time. We finally decided to put it into action in December last year, and we've been tweeking the code ever since :)
I was a little surprised when CG Society introduced their portfolios - but I agree with you its a great system. This kind of portfolio feature is something that was lacking in the CG community.

Given that we spent all this time putting the portfolio idea together, it seemed a shame not to share it with other CG enthusiasts.
Our portfolios are free, and I just hope people will enjoy them :) For the moment there's no limit to the number of images you post ...

hey good stuff. the portfolio thing here sucks. you can only stick a few images down, and you cant decide the layout of the page, and the link you get is funny.


You only get 5 free spaces for images if you are not a CGsociety member. And considering the amount of people who are registered on this site, I think 5's pretty generous! Plus registering costs next to nothing, after which you can customise your portfolio as much as you like. So I wouldnt exactly say it sucks...

Might I suggest cleaning up the site a bit? IMO its a bit too cluttered.

Thanks to our first 150 Members !

Since opening the Portfolios two weeks ago we've gone from 0 to 150 members with 620 images showcased ... Thanks to all who've participated so far ...
