Title: The night of mighty mites
Name: Gunilla Elam
Country: Sweden
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, ZBrush

When the night comes and the darkness settles a small group of adventurers gathers to start their long and dangerous journey. With great risk for their lives they need to climb the highest mountain to harvest what they need to survive - scrapes from human skin.

Who will make it and who will die a fearsome death? Who will survive to bring back the harvest to rescue the lives of the starving clan?

This is my entry for the Journey begins Challenge - thanks to all that helped me complete it.

Yeah... you're here now, with your incredible creation... your particular universe which scratch a lot :scream: hahahaha...

I don't know who is this man, but the poor guy can have all my sympathy

Seriously... the work you've done is great, by the originality in first, but the realization in second, by the result in third.

I can congratulate you much for your new skills with Zbrush... already much progress...

And I also must congratulate you for the composition, as we know, very hard to place with this comple camera angle, and this complicated lighting.

The result is here now, you can be happy, and I'm proud of you Gunie... a result like you, very original, it's the Gunie's Touch... terribly Swedish :buttrock:

You can count on my stars :deal:

Thank you for your sweet words and always great support :)

Mona - thanks, and sure it was tricky but I think in the end it turned out okay!

I like the lighting, but most of all, it's a very original creation. I leave you to itch uncontrollably now.

It's great to see the render at that size. It was fun watching this scene develop and I agree with the others - it's not an easy task to depict critters of that scale and viewing angle and it's come out superbly. You've really managed that extreme magnification look about the scene. Congratulations
