Here is a sketch I am working on (or course it will be cleaner soon). I'd like some comments/crits, are the proportions ok?

What's happening in the picture is the girl is covering her face with her arms (not hiding it, just laying her arms over her face), her hair are split apart and attached to some rings, and then come out unattached in a swirly mess.

I'm having a lot of trouble figuring what kinds of clothes to go with. Desing-wise it is not a problem, but I guess I gotta figure out the mood of the scene to know what to draw.

And she is shirtless, with two streaks of hair covering partly her breasts. I'll probably add tatoos at the end.

So don't be scared by the pic, it is just a preminilary sketch.

Hi Osirus ,

the neck looks too long and lower body proportions look off.

Do you have a anatomy book handy , there should be a chart in there dividing human body in 7 parts , that should help you fix the proportions.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it is true the neck is quite long. Her head is bent backward, but still it is quite long. I cannot fix it at this point tho:/ Maybe later. As for the lower body, I decided to go for a dress. It is very loose and attached only to the two strands of hair hanging over her breasts. As you can see the two strands are attached at the end. The robe is covered with a second "robe" (near the knees) and under the main one is a transparent satin-like dress. More work to be done, thanks! And keep on commenting people please:D

Edit: I decided to post a colored version. Eeek:surprised I will redraw the whole thing anyway and color it when I get a tablet.

I like your style its original. The hair look great and the skirt has a nice design too it. I think you should make the stomach longer and the hip wider. It would make her more sexy.
