Title: Ghost Rider: Spirit of vegeance
Name: Emilio José Álvarez Raya
Country: España
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, VRay

From boy I have read cómics infinity, many of them on the superheroes. My fascination for these mythological beings is what has pushed me to be devoted to the graphic art.
I cannot say that it is a great fond of the cómics of the Ghost Rider, but it has always impacted me the image and this character's design. Some months ago I finished a model 3d of the motorist, there am I even composed an illustration... but I have to recognize that I didn't like the result too much.
Recently I have been able to see the first trailer of the new movie of Marvel on this character and I have decided to give myself a new opportunity to depict the "Spirit of vegeance"... and this is the result.
I have composed a new illustration with the pattern 3D and a bottom altered in Photoshop again. Finally some retouches for the fire.
There is a modest tribute here to one of the heroes that made me dream of boy. I hope you like.

Very nice. The fire looks so real!!
the model could need some tweaks i think, but it looks god.

what did you use to make the fire?

The fire itself looks really nice bit it doesn´t affect it´s environment.
For example, it should cast light and shadows and esepcially reflect in the chrome parts of the bike like the exhaust.

That really destroys the image in a way...
The idea is great as well as the perspective and the general mood.

You are right. The fire should mark but the illumination on the motorist... something that to improve. That of the reflection on the chassis is something but difficult to solve, since the fire added it later on with Photoshop, creating an illustration layer. Next time I will take care but those particulars. Thank you really for the observations.

This is really an awsome image man, I think it deserves more praise than its getting, I agree with everything said about the fire, And your bike is quite impresive, What did you use for the back ground, did you create the city in ps from scratch? If so very nice.

Mate I'm impresed that one of the best Ghostrider fan art peices I've seen yet, I can pretty much only say what everyone else has said, great setting that has feel to it and that fire rocks (by the way how the hell did you do that) some of the lighting critisims are on the righ track but you have to make mistakes to learn, thats prtty much what I'm trying to do with my Ghostrider project ( he throws a sutble plug, even though it's no way as good as this)
Throw us some tips and tutorials if you can mate spread the knowledge.

Cheers and again great work.
