Hey guys,
well I never got around to posting my reel back in 2004 when I graduated from VFS.
I'm curious to see if it gets any feedback.

Here are some stills.

Hmm, I wonder, is the file too large?
I don't know if I can compress it any lower without sacrificing significant quality.

dude!! cool looking trailer! so whens the movie coming out?? LOL it really looks great! and nah the file size is fine. i just had 1 question.. im noticing that like 90% of reels that come out of VFS are cell shaded animations. why is that? i mean it looks cool for what you're doing, but why does everyone use it?

Thanks for the comments Sam, I'm glad you liked it.
About the toon shader...
Well, actually I hadn't seen many reels come out in a toon shaded style, and actually pull it off at an appealling quality.
I was kind of the dark horse in my class, and I received a lot of criticism from mentors for choosing to use a toon shader. Personally, for me, it was purely a style choice. I worked very hard to achieve a visual target I was happy with, and I had a great time doing it.

If there is any more feedback on this piece, I'd love to hear it!
