View Full Version : UVmapping a tree
seantree 01-10-2003, 12:51 AM Just wondering what you guys would recommend for unwrapping a tree? I was thinkin of a cylindrical map, but the bark seems to flow on trees and i'm afraid of seams etc.. where the trunk meets the branches. Any tips are appreciated. thanks.

If your using Maya you could use the 3d paint tool to clone out the seems...if not, try blending 2 maps with an alpha channel.
