Thanks Ryan for posting this. It was very informative and helpful.
I never thought about using the morph function along with the Mwave plug-in to apply the texture and morph to my original Lightwave model. You learn something new everyday.
Or to use both a dissplacement map along with a normal map when exporting my Zbrush model.
I know this is probablly the better way of doing that because I usually end up exporting my model at a higher poly count becuase the normal map alone is not enough to show all the detail and deformation at the original low poly model. I'm guessing that by using a dissplacement map it will allow you to export the original low poly model which the dissplacement map with then subdivide and deform to a degree that will then cut down on the amount of work that the normal map will have to do to show the high detail.

Have you seen that Zguide of lightwave is longer and completer than other guide.

Extremly cool of him to make that article, if you're using Zbrush>LW this is a must-read I'd say.

Great, it's fantastic someone (not someone, but Steve Warner) wrote almost 100 pages of Zbrush-LW connection manual. As i'm going to get into Zbrush this summer this comes invaluable for me.
thanks Steve
