View Full Version : 3DSMax: working binoculars possible?

Hi..

I've been wondering for a while if its possible to make a working binoculars in 3dsmax.. that when you look through them you can see an object far away.. with out taking a picture and applying it as a texture or anything.. like a class that zooms or something ???

I'm working on telescopes for sniper rifles and wanted to see if I could do a scope that works.. fiddling with refractions but havent found it to be working like I want it. *shrug*

Refraction should work fine for this... (also try to play with the refraction index)
