whoa, that boar's head one is quite different from what I'm used to seeing on here. And the shading is great.

subscribing...! is it me, or does your style really suit dark subjects?!

nice latest image - thanks for the step-by-step. couple of questions - are you adjusting the levels to get to the high-contrast image, or doubling layers (steps 7-8)? also, do you know what you're going for before beginning, or was that a random shape?

hey man!:) thx:thumbsup:

Well i dont know, i can go for "happy-paintings" too but none that i reffer

1:are you adjusting the levels to get to the high-contrast image, or doubling layers?

Well sometimes i just duplicate the layers and do a mutliply, and sometimes i go straight for darker tones and nail the image that i find suitable.

2:do you know what you're going for before beginning, or was that a random shape?

almost similiar answer as above, sometimes i have a clear view of what i want to paint, and other times i just paint randomely some shapes till my imagination creates an image of the painted shapes

Thank you for the step-by-step, man.. This gives me so much inspiration... But it doesn't give me the skills to do what you do with seemingly so much ease... I envy you and all other masters of 2D

wow SamsonsReaper these are AMAZING... I do like the dark content very much - and thanks for the quick tutorial (I can see alot in it thankyou!)

I especially like the highlights that come from the shadows - the highlights on the womans boots in the first picture - perfect.

yeah i was going to say the same thing. Wonderful drawings. I love them all. Especially the first two women and the one with the boars head. Beautiful! I think you are a great artist. Your lighting on these drawings are amazing. (Something that i am trying to work on) ;)

Not only are your light/shadow-play amazing, but your skin textures and sense of organic dynamics are outstanding! And the darkness and the gore...hehehehe, yes please. It's nice to have at least one dark corner around here where fairy queens in satin dresses are absent - or eaten alive
