View Full Version : Hardcore Modeling Challenge #2: BIG BEN: Tower: Slangford
slangford 05-27-2006, 05:05 AM Ok ladies and gentlemen.... I'm in.
Heres were Im at. I started by trying to setup a proxy of the whole tower. Using reference pictures and finding a couple of helpful measurements online... I have my proportions. This will (hopefully) keep things to scale and make sure all the parts fit together right.

Looking good so far.
My one criticism, is that I think the little ornaments above the numerals need to be bigger.
Check them out in the attached picture to see what I mean.

Yeah... they could be alittle thicker. I figured I would make another pass over the clock face adding another level or two of detail. Thanks for the crit!

Sorry guys.... but I've just gotten an extra project from work and I'm sorry to say that I will have to bow out early. I plan to get back on this project but it will definatly be after the deadline.
Good luck to everyone!
