This piece was created for an assignment. The goal was simply to produce a fantasy themed illustration.
It's loosly based off of a dream I had. The idea that jumpstarted the illustration was that I wanted to juxtapose a child and a giant. I also wanted to include themes of life, death, and rebirth, innocence and experience, etc. I don't know how I feel about this piece, since I had to finish it so quickly to make the deadline.

I also don't know what to title it. "Fallen Guardian" is something I just came up with on the spot. I'd love any suggestions.

Wow, the more I look at it, the more I like it. :D The details are nice.
I love the greens, and how the red contrasts with them. And also the butterflies, the plants, the background circle thingies, the bones at the bottom...

Everything flows together so well, it's really beautiful. :)
