Title: ULF cover
Name: Henning Ludvigsen
Country: Norway
Software: Photoshop
This is a book cover I did for sci-fi author Stuart Clark. I had fun making this painting, as the monster design I got from the client was really interesting. More info on the publishers site: www.silverleafbooks.com
Reference used for the guy.
Painted during about 5 evenings in Photoshop CS2 with a Wacom Intuos tablet.

Really not too fond of the creature design, but still a great image! Between the nose and lip seems weird though on the man. I may be seeing it wrong and need to see reference! Always great to see your work, as you are one of my main influences! peace!

I love the alien, sort of an xman lasersight :P
The lighting on the human character leaves some wishes. For example the parts between his nose and mouth. also i think his neck is overlighted, but that can be an artistic lisence.
Great image :D

nice picture.
Reminds me hardly at the coverdesign of the early Warcraft series.

I'm seeing you more active in here, that's good, I will be as soon as I have more material, I've been not able to draw a lot due to school finals. Well, about the picture, the guy's face resembles your own and about the technique I have no feedback, everything is well painted. About the Warcraft cover, yeah, they are too similar but the picture was not Henning's idea, he just did the art and that's all. Well see ya.
