View Full Version : push one object with another?

I'm currently trying to get into cinema animation and I have a question. Cinema has all kinds of dynamics like gravitation and stuff, is there an easy way to move an object with another object? For example if I have a cube, and move that cube to the left, through another cube. Is there any way to make the moving cube push the other cube to the left, or do I have to animate it manually? Hope my question makes any sense...

Thanks Björn! I thought about dynamics, but I'm not sure how to use it...

EDIT: And what is 'CD Constrains'?

Hi there,

if you already have dynamics in your bundle,... then go for it... I personaly don´t, and I just got phytools by remotion.
www.remotion4d.net/

... It is a pretty sweet software..., just that the documaentaion is kinda missing... so if you are brand new to 3D stuff, than it will be hard to find your way in the software.
But then I have heard that dynamics has some akward ways in their user concept...

I am satisfied with phytools...

can someone please point me to a tutorial or something on how to use the dynamics. I've tried messing around with different things, but nothing really happens :D I have checked out the other plugins, but they all cost money, and I'm not ready to pay for anything at the moment... Thanks for the help!

It's for R7 but Dynamics hasn't changed that much.
