Title: Sea Dancers - Water
Name: Diane Özdamar
Country: France
Software: Photoshop
This painting is part of a project I'm actually working on about the 4 elements. This one is Water.
Everything has been painted from scratch in photoshop CS. About 10 or 15 hours.
References used for the face and body.
Everything else is imagination.
Thanks a lot to Link ( http://justmeina.deviantart.com/) for the wonderful stock image he provides!

I really like this style and your use of colours. I also just like the image/feel to it. Very romantic!

i think i like it maybe you can give prominence to her body..
Her hair was messed up and neglect configuration..
I don't know if I'm making myself clear. ..

I like very much, good work, my only suuggestion is that the bubbles on the top could be more detailed, 4 stars:thumbsup:

^^ If you notice that the bubbles near the faces are very much detailed one can surmise that she intended for the outlaying parts of the piece to remain painterly so the focus stays on the faces.
Also, they are underwater, her handling of the hair is quite well done actually.
I think this piece is beautiful and very professionally done.
beautiful work!...color palette is good!

I love how they're looking at each other. And the movement, and the colors.. it's all very nice. :)
(And thanks for the WIP)

The height of the piece is really working. The spacing of where you place the figures in the piece really made this composition. This mite be my favorite by you. Nice to see you over here.

Thank you very much for your comments and critiques, they are very nice and constructive!
About the hair, I agree about the fact that it needs some more work. I'll try to work a little bit more on it and to post an edited version of this painting as soon as possible :)
About the bubbles, LabyrinthineMind is right. I wanted to focus on the faces and to leave the rest of the painting a little bit blurry / undetailed. I should blur them more maybe.
I'll post another work of the serie (fire) as soon as possible, I'm actually working on it.
Thank you very much for the feedback everybody!

You've created a beautiful work. The color is very calming and pleasant. I love the girl's expression - there's a lot feeling in it, more feeling than in the guy's face, I think. My only critique is that the upper bubbles are a bit too rough compared to the detalized and smooth technique of the faces and bodies
