I just finished a script for Max to take the sequence exported from blender and brings them as an animation into Max so you can shade and render it.

I am just trying to find some space to post the script and screenshots to. I am also going to write a tutorial when i get some web space and time.

http://partiallyfrozen.com/scripts/...r2MaxFluids.zip (http://partiallyfrozen.com/scripts/Blender2MaxFluids.zip)

So here it is. The long awaited script. It includes the script written by: Chuky, from here http://www.xsibase.com/forum/index....;threadid=22903 (http://www.xsibase.com/forum/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=22903)

His script gets the fluids out of blender as an OBJ sequence. Mine takes that and brings it into max.

So here is breifly how to use it.

http://partiallyfrozen.com/images/blendscript.jpg <-- Image of script UI

FIRST MAKE SURE ITS A BLANK MAX SCENE. THAT MEANS NOTHING IN IT.

1.) Create your OBJ Sequence in blender (run the *.py script). Make sure its into its own folder and the only OBJs in that folder are the sequence.

2.) Open Max. Run my script.

3.) click the import button. Pick the folder that the sequence is in. (It will take a few min. Get some coffee. If its late. Get some water).

4.) Now wheneverything is loaded. Click on the Pick all Objects button. Then Pick all objects. You should see the list of all the Objects that have been loaded

5.) Click the Create Animation button.

6.) After everything has been animated you system will slow down. DONT press the play button it wont work. IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE MOTION USE THE SCRUBBER AND GO BACK AND FORTH.

Thats my little Tutorial. If you want to improve on this tutorial you rock my socks. If not thats cool.

Enjoy,

Mark
