Aldalorn 01-09-2003, 09:50 AM Here is an image made last year during my school of special effects. It's extracted from my student movie made during 2 years. I done all background / architecture 'cause i'm very interested in it.
So enjoy!

Sympas !
Ton avatars aussi "tete de bite" ! ;)
Very nice atmosphere and colour.
The top and bottom borders are visually confusing though!? The top black band is part of the architecture [because the light shafts are going over the top of it] but the bottom black band is a framing element with some text overlaid....or am I reading it wrong?
Maybe the file compression has crushed the detail in the deep shadow too much?

if you look behind the black bands you can see the original imagine is visible through them... i do think they look odd however... not really sure what this guy is telling us but i'm glad someone else mentioned them
other than that, great work! tons of detail, i like it:thumbsup:

Yes, of course, inspirated from Egyptian art, and a sketch by Boullée (architecture from 18th century).
