Well I just can't seem to keep on with one model without getting some urge to make another. (Ie: Mole rat)

So, I did some screenshots from the film and used them as reference in trying to make her look like the character from the film. What's odd is that how she looks from the front is a whole lot different from the side view of her head. So I've been going on how she looks from the front a bit.

The cheekbones aren't correct, and neither is the back of her head., but the rest of her is pretty much right on. She may not have bags of skin under her eyes, but I'll fix that. Habit of my current eye-socket modelling method.

The eye I just used a map from 3DSMax. Cropped a portion of it and stuck it in the pupil for look of color. No real work done into a specular mapping to make the pupil shiny in certain areas like Smeagol's in the Two Towers.

Might cut down on the polys and make her a UT2k3 Game Character. Weeee!!!

Looking good. I saw the movie a few months ago and enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

From my memory though her face was a tad skinnier, or am I recalling it wrong?

Well there are some shots of her from the movie where her head changes shapes during the movie. And fear of the black suits at Disney pushing a button and erasing my existence, I don't think I can post pictures of the character directly from the movie.

Like I posted, it's a WIP.. heh Some of it's eyeballing it, some of it's actually trying to use the character's features.

After looking at the Head ref pics again, the eyes aren't tilted enough and there are some shapes that need tweaking.

I'll try and keep posting updates when I can. Working on my Valentine's Day 3D gift for my girlfriend. lol Gotta get it modelled, rigged, and animated with sound by then. :-)

*horrified screams*
