little background on my monster.

-created by me so I create the lore behind him :)

-Hysteria is the the creator of madness. He is responsible for nightmares and all the intellectually based grief on the planet. People that are schizo's or suffer from 'mental illness' are all just under the spell of hysteria. Hysteria enjoys instilling fear and phobias in helpless victims like infants and small children and then checks back in from time to time to make sure his phobias are still in tact. He is characterized by his many spines that release a toxin that cause high degrees of hallucinagenic madness. These are merely for self defense and render victims helpless so that Hysteria can slip off. His tool for dementing the minds of everyone is a large orb that carries within it all the pure negative aspects of the mind. Pain, agony, hatred, fear, madness, insanity all similar feelings that can all be deployed in different manors by hysteria. Many have tried to steal his orb from him and some have succeeded only to have the orb render them helpless into a maddened state of mind where they become all consumed by the endless question why cant I control it? Victims of this fate never recover and spend the rest of their days alive OR dead in madness feeling all the negatives the orbs possesses. As far as it is known hysteria is the only creature in existense that can possess the orb and wield it. No others can do such things INCLUDING gods and God making hysteria a threat to even the creator of all things.

Concept sketch I threw together at 3 in the morning before I passed out so I wouldnt loose the idea I had for his looks.

Great character background and sketch. I really like the functionality of the spines. Can't wait to see more!
