Title: Small Room
Name: Murat Edizer
Country: Turkey
Software: LightWave 3D, Photoshop

Hi everyone, I'm new at here :) I tried to make a scene that someone is living there. I used FPrime for rendering and the render time is 7 hours. I'd like critique on the lighting and texturing.

Comments are welcome :)

Great job! I think the floor is a little clean though, maybe you can add a little dirt and wear. Nice lighting.

maybe make the chair a different texture, it looks a lil plain.... and that is even strecthing for something, great work:bounce:

You are right about the chair :) I should have done some texturing improvements on some elements in the scene too :)
I'm glad to see good critiques...
thanks :)

This is almost perfect & photorealistic. It's just curtains for me... I think they're too flat.

you would amazed actually.

really great lightning and texturing job. sun feeling is great too, maybe monitors plastic surface should have been worked on a little as well as chair.

Very nice job. In these Vray-days its good to see an image like this coming out of LW.
Could you say some words bout the light-setup?

My light setup was simple like this. But the most important thing is about diffuse value on every surfaces.

Here is the screen capture and sory about the JPG quality :D
If you need more info just ask again :)

Selamlar Murat,
Nice details, CD's scattered on the table, ADSL modem (DLink?), electric cables & plugs, a pack of cigarettes, bent mouse pad and that things under the sofa... These details made me feel that someone really lives there, I mean you've got what you've intended.

Last words; Good modeling and lighting... (and the texture on the sofa is awesome!)

Outstanding, superb, wonderful, and other such words of encouragement. This is really nice, and has a definate feel of being "lived in". The texturing is great, especially the sofa, and the lighting setup is sooo realistic. I love the way the light shines through the curtains. Well done :)
