CGTalk - Handwriting effect?

What is the easiest and most efficent way of making a handwriting effect in combustion...
animation the whole word as if someone was writing it.

using a 3d stroke...

ore i'm not sure but combustion do have
a stroke.
create a mask guide and apply stroke and animate a parameters.
