Allan McKay (http://www.3dluvr.com/machette) has made some rather madly nice (special-effects focused mostly if memory serves) videos, available from 3dluvr (http://www.3dluvr.com/content/videotut.php). You have to register and log in first to gain access to them (as with 3dbuzz.com, it's free and such so no biggie).

The puppies at 3dluvr are unfortunately streamable only. ..sort of. Well that's their intended goal at any rate.
