guys.. can anyone tell me how can we make saliva kinda effect ( ANIMATABLE ) in maya or any plugin which can work with maya? i hv made a dragon...and i want to have saliva in its mouth.
any tut for this will be a great help.

U can do it with metaballs or blend shapes in maya itself.
If u know RealFlow go for that.
There are lot of properties to make the saliva realistic. viscos, speed strech,drippinf,etc. u can get a good mesh also.

baran..can you please tell me where i can get the trial version of real flow from?
and..please tell me if there is any tut to make this effect in maya itself..i know how to use blendshapes but my problem is with the texture.
looking forward for the help !!!

this is the official RF site. you can get fully functional trial version here.

mmmm.... what version of Maya u r using. If 6.x means u can use metaballs. this is not compiled for 7.x versions.

My recomend in RealFlow. but if u r new to RF it is little difficult to study that application to do the job within deadline.

m using maya 7.
ya m new to RF i hv never tried it..and i hv to do this as early as possible maximum..2-3 days..
lets see what happens..:( ...
will try my best.
