Been working on this for a while. Made with Lightwave 7.5 using Lewis's (THE CHAMP) technique.

I'll be continually updating these images. renders are taking far too long. any tips?

very nice.

Some things I don't like:
The Shadow. Looks very dark...Maybe already 100% black?

The taillights. Looks to flat. Have U fully modelt the light?

The Car looks a litle bit "high" is there really that much space under the car? I'm not Ferrari Fan So I don't know

i'll be uploading some radiosity images soon. till then the shadows will be 100% black.

yes the lights are modeled, although i will make them more curved. thanks for pointing that out.

im not sure about the height. It does look alot high for a sports car thou. I might try lowering it. ta

Thanks all for the comments

whoa.. and i do mean WHOA.. heh..

i agree about the height.. although i kinda doubt that you modeled it wrong.. i bet its just the angle.. HOWEVER.. i think you should do some shots with it lowered, cause it would look so damn cool.. BUT.. kickass nonetheless..

This is sweet work my friend...the best part is the shot with green paint (green color is a bit 'loud' for my choice, but) because unlike ALOT of other cars we see, they never put that nice tiny bumpped surface into consideration. Paint is never super smooth all over a car....i guess it depends how close you want the camera to be to your object to determine detail, but anyway...nice attention to that detail....Cheers

@Dr Ben:

I'm not "NiGMa" but I think I can help U.

the easist way to break reflection is to use a bump map. Just a fractal noise (or any other procedual shader). Try it.

Ok I'm gonna be rough with you since you aked for it. Don't take it personally cuz I think its a great piece of work.

the curvature on the bottom half of the scoop isn't 100% accurate. Your model makes it look a little too curvy.

The actual light elements on the vehicle don't look like real lights at all they look too dull/ too plasticky thats only in the last shot though.. some of the other views looked better... could be an issue with angle and lighting

The window should have a black edge on it as do most cars... its just a water layer and so its not glass to metal...

The logo on the hood need to be a bit more glossy and it looks like a rectangle to me... its actually slightly beveled.

Finally one last thing on the air scoop on the front (not sure if its actually like this or if its a flaw) but there seems to be kind of a ripple on the edge and in the center... try smoothing out the mesh in those areas more. I'll post a pict outlining what i'm talking about if you would like.

Always great to see fellow car modelers!!! Keep up the great work.
