Holy crap thats good, can we see base mesh and a close up of the face possibly.
This would have fit right in with the models from underworld evolution. nice.

Damn you! I H@te you! Jk, but Here I was about to make a new wip thread myself and came across yours. I am trying to find flaws in the anatomy but it looks so spot on so I don't have any crit to give right now. I would however greatly appreciate it if you could stop by my wip thread and give me some pointers on my werewolf? I'll be watching this thread for sure.

Wow... That is so badass!

My only crit is that the nipples look a bit too off to each side. You look like you've put a lot of work into that though and it shows, great job! 5 Stars well deserved.

I love it, though why is he so wrinkly? Remember, the must have sex appeal, they are vampires. Also, I'm not liking the "chicken" skin underneath his jaw, looks like it hurts, especially when he leans back to roar. 4 stars. :)

Great work. I think the leather skin is fine- I'm surprised folks have asked you to change it. The skin design looks intentional- his features suggest he is a monster.... not an Ann Rice sexual deviant. The nipples look fine to me too (yep, I'm talking about man nipples... Ann would be proud)- the stretched outward look of the nipples and chest area is consistent with a bat or winged animal.

It would be interesting to see if he gets the wings.

BTW- for the skin- did you use an Alpha Map, or did you "draw" in the folds.

Great Job- I look forward to seeing more
Craig

Keep on .... .
The skin is perfect . you don't need to change it .
I wonder that how this vampire will appear in the final render with a nice texturing and
lighting .
Keep it ooooooooon .

Wow, this is absolute quality stuff

can anybody tell me how to get this much
subdivs in zbrus?
It seems to be limited to 1,5mil in my case
or should I devide my mesh in to seperate pieces?

Under Preferences>Mem you will find a slider for max polys per mesh- it goes from .5 to 10 and measures in the millions the highest number of polys per mesh. Meaning a value of 2 leaves you only two milliion polys to work with. This is set to keep you from accidentally crashing your computer. I have 3 gigs of ram on my boxx and can handle about 6 million without major problems. The current maximum is 10 million polys- meaning if you need more, you will have to break up your model. This has also introduced a new concept in modelling- arrange your poly count so it hits your maximum perfectly. For example- if your poly maximum is say 6 million- then you want to hit 6 million exactly. That means that for the best results I take the number 6,000,000 and continue to divide by 4 (number of multiplier when subdividing) until I get a decent number for a base mesh. The problem really arises when for example you have a mesh at 4 million- but you want to go higher.... you can't. 4,000,000 x 4 = 12,000,000 and that goes beyond the highest value that Zbrush allows. Turns out math is needed after all- crap.

I've seen quite a few pieces you've posted on various boards, Oliveira....and you blow my mind with each one man. Your sense of anatomy is about as perfect as perfect can be, and yet you have a certain unique style all while not jeopardizing that awareness of anatomy...you're a true artist dude. Keep up the great work....it's some really inspiring stuff. ;)
