applying Zbrush Normal map in Maya 6.0 vs. 7.0

In Zmapper I've chosen: open configuration > MayaTangentSpaceBestQuality

When assigning the normal map in Maya 7.0, under the material attributes > bump mapping, there is a drop down field titled Use as: and you can pick Tangent Space Normal Map

In Maya 6.0 that field is not present. Is it located somewhere else, or just not available? I just skipped that step and applied the file. Should I not be choosing MayaTangentSpaceBestQuality in Zmapper? I got some really weird results shown in the picture. Really blurry on 1 side.

Try my JSNormalMapper (for Maya software rendering) or JS_NormalMapper (for Mentalray).
Get it at: www.pixero.com (http://www.pixero.com/)

Heres how to use it:
