Hi,
can anyone here help me and make a very, very short guide in how to set up the polytools and meshtools that I recently downloaded and put in my 3dsmax folder?
I don't know which are the new tools...

Thankful for any assistance!

Hi,

From the help text (F1)-->

To create a new quad set:

Choose Customize menu > Customize User Interface > Quads tab.

Click New.

The New Quad Set dialog appears.

Enter the name of the quad set and click OK.

The new set appears in the Quad set list.

To add a command to a quad set:

Choose Customize menu > Customize User Interface > Quads tab.

Choose the quad set you want to edit from the drop-down list.

If you want to change the name of the quad set, click Rename and enter a new name in the Rename Quad Set dialog.

Select the quadrant where you want to place the command.

You can edit the name of the quadrant by changing the text in the Label area.

Choose the appropriate Group and Category from the respective drop-down lists.

Choose a command from the action list and drag it into the Quad Menu window.

Use the same procedure to add menus and separators to your quad set.

The commands should be available from the csPolyTools and MeshTools categories.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, Bur147

I had this on my HD for quite a while, in german, and ready to publish, but I bet I never had put it to public if I wouldn't have read your post. So I took the last 2 hours to translate it into english... Let's say I tried to translate it into english :P

anyway, bur147 helped you quite well, I guess, but some pics make the life easier :-)

cheers
Michael
