This was done with ZBrush 1.51.

The sky was done by using a flat color material (which doesn't receive shadows) and drawing in the clouds using the spray stroke in conjunction with a crescent-shaped alpha.

The main figure is made from a skinned ZSphere tool. After skinning additional modelling was done using combinations of the draw pointer and masking/inflate.

Additional details were added on separate layers, jewelry, guns, etc. The guns were also made from skinned ZSphere tools.

The grass was done by using the Fiberbrush in conjunction with the grass texture that comes with ZBrush (a trick that I learned from Mentat7 :) ).

The transparency on the wings was done using the clone brush with layers mode switched to "on" and shaded switched to "off".

The detail on the wings was added with the paintbrush tool with mouse averaging set to high to get smoother strokes.

The hair was done by using tapered half-toruses. The flowers were made from modified Gear3D tools.

Translucent type materials can be achieved by raising the left side of the diffuse graph in the material settings in conjunction with soft shadow rendering. I used this for the skin material and the mushrooms, for example.

A step-by-step is posted in the WIP gallery at:

As I said at ZBC I love your modelling style, it's very unique in my eyes. The updates you made really finished of this image. The wings turned out very good, though I miss some defining frame around the wing, maybe just a slightly darker color going round the rim.
Anyway here is a chance to use the smilies not available at ZBC :applause: :bounce: :buttrock:
