Mokey for osx was announced at macworld. We don't have to wait 2d3 to release Pixeldust anymore! Though I do believe icarus allready has the ability to do this.

The motion filtering in previous versions of Icaus was a bit flakey... We've just posted v2.08 up on our web-site that has a much improved filtering algorithm. You can check out some before-and-after examples on our gallery page:

I recently evaluated Mokey. And while it worked great on their own sample footage, i got less than stellar results with anything else.

I'm really looking forward to Pixeldust, but I bet it's coming with an astronomical price tag.

I've yet to try out the Icarus module.

It is macworld this week and there were a bunch of announcements. I only posted 2 of them though.

I came from using NeXT Step which was so ahead of its time 10 years ago(kicked the mac and window's ass), so any osx announcements(especially another graphics app), are really good news to me. The old NeXT interface is still extremly popular to this day in linux with the WindowMaker WM(it is what I run on my linux box at home).

Is PixelDust ever coming out and when, how much will it be?

Is Mokey and PD basically it as far as matte creation/roto tools?

Thanks!
