I dont know where to put this so i will ask here.

How can i cut down the friction from the Wacom? I dont know the name put its prussian blue and its A4 size. When I use it I always get the rubbing of my hand when it should glide across the surface. Is there a cleaner that smoothens the surface? or maybe some hand cream that gives your hand that gliding ability but wont damage the wacom.

Buy a can of Silicon Spray. Spray it onto the side of your hand and let it dry for a minute. That stuff will make anything slick. A friend and I once on vacation sprayed it onto the bottom of our feet and were able to just ice skate wherever we went.

It should be non irritating for the most part, although I can't guarantee it'll be nonharmful to your wacom, I wouldn't imagine it would damage anything.

You can also try a little talcum powder.

Its like chalking your hand up when playing pool!

Not to mention, potentially less hazardous to your skin than industrial strength chemicals...:D

And there is that...

Well the talc worked :D

The rubbing wa sthe main reason I gave up digital art and concentrated on traditional stuff. Lets see if I can go a second round!

After a long day retouching, my hands would get a bit sweaty (which happens sometimes when I concentrate or when the air con packs it in) and I would get this huge blister on my pinky.

The talc really helped!

I had this very same problem.

Go out and get yourself a pair of gloves called "retouching gloves" or "archiving gloves." They are thin white linen gloves and you can snip the ends off of the thumb, lead finger, and middle finger in order to be able to feel the stylus. The gloves are like $1.25 for a pair and it works PERFECT for me. You can find them in a camera supply shop or online.
