Hi as you PS guru's probably guessed I am having what is "probably" a rather noobish problem with grids on my painting :)
I have only just started digitaly painting and so I am using as many "helper" tools as I can get my hands on until I get into a groove and feel comfortable with ps and painter.
Thing is though, this particular tool is NOT WORKING how I had expected it would.
Basicaly I wanted the grid over my drawing canvas layer, and my ref picture, so I could get better proportions/composition etc for my drawing.
Buy my brush strokes are following the grid lines instead of just going were I want them to go and draw what I want them to draw heh.
Instead my brush simply follows the lines of the grids, so if I am going in a upwards diagonal path, the end result is a line that looks like a 2d set of steps lol.
Is there anyway to just get the grid overlaid on my canvas document but not have it interact with my brushs trokes?
Cheers :)
