i have installed shake 4 on red hat interprise. I installed the software by loging into the root and unziping the shake file into the usr directory. i then logout and login as the normal user. i start the software and it opens, and their are long delays when i try to do any thing in shake. does anyone know what the case of this or what i did wrong? http://www.fxshare.com/boards/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif

You need to make sure that 3d accelerated video card drivers are installed. Shake uses opengl to draw it's interface.

no, it's not. just like in windows. download the driver from nvidia site, login as root and launch the install script, reboot and you'll get your accelerated driver.
