Hi !!

I´ve been searching the web for blueprints of Greek Temples (ionic)
as background for some quick modelling -
but where not that succesfull . . .

Maybe someone of you knows from a good link ?

i think you might have more success by using reference pictures.

one reason is there surely are more "normal" pictures of such objects than blueprints (somehow i dont think theres much chance you are gonna find "real" blueprints).
another way would be creating your own blueprints from reference pictures or from what you have in your own mind.

I agree with fif. I don't think the Ancient Greeks or Egyptians were big on blueprints ;o) If they were maybe we would know for sure how the pyramids on the Giza Plateau were built.

I found out that for architectural references/blueprints libraries are better than the internet. Get a good book about the ancients.

btw. guys why shouldn't there be blueprints for ancient greek architecture, ever thought of archeologists :) in fact I have some blueprints, so if you don't find anything yourself drop me a PM, I don't want to post it on the forum.

sculpture and a myriad of other discoveries.

A fantastic source is:
