View Full Version : how to delete all layers at once?
Naseem 05-20-2006, 02:05 AM i'v ben googling and searching for a solution to delete all layers in 1 blow!
the reason is that i'v ben merging some scenes and i ended up witha huge layer list maybe in the 1000s and i'm looking for a way to find a way to delete *.layers if u know what i mean.

forgot to add that i'm working wiht Xsi 4.2 and i dont have the delete empty layer option =\
i'm not experienced in scripting but if there is a way to build a string that allow me to delete multiple layers that well be helpful ^_^

Switch the scope of the Explorer to Layers, select Layers, hit the delete key....

thax i'm tring to do it now i got over 22000 layers that need to be flushed out its goning to take some time to select them all and delete them! i probably have another 10 scenes like that. =\
