hi, I'm making a gui and part of it is defunc.

3 of the 4 buttons on the LowerLip side can't be pressed. I thought it might have something to do with the way I did the row layout. Any ideas? This is the part that doesn't work:

if (`window -q -ex DeweyFaceWindow1`) deleteUI DeweyFaceWindow1;

window -title "DeweyGUI" -w 80 -h 960 DeweyFaceWindow1;

columnLayout -cw 120 Nudge;

text "Nudge";

text " UpperLip LowerLip" ;

rowLayout -numberOfColumns 2 -cw2 60 60;

gridLayout -nrc 3 3 -cellWidthHeight 18 18 -bgc .9 .9 .7 NudgeButtonsTop;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label "^" -c "nudgeTopLipUpProc" -bgc .9 .9 .5;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label "<" -c "" -bgc .9 .9 .5;;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label ">" -c "" -bgc .9 .9 .5;;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label "v" -c "nudgeTopLipDOWNProc" -bgc .9 .9 .5;;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

separator -style "in" -w 100;

setParent..;

gridLayout -nrc 3 3 -cellWidthHeight 18 18 -bgc .9 .9 .7 NudgeButtonsBottom;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label "^" -c "nudgeLowerLipUpProc" -bgc .9 .9 .5 -enable 1;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label "<" -c "" -bgc .9 .9 .5;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label ">" -c "" -bgc .9 .9 .5;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

button -label "v" -c "nudgeLowerLipDOWNProc" -bgc .9 .9 .5;

button -label " " -enable 0 -vis 0;

setParent..;

setParent..;

//Show Main Window Command

showWindow DeweyFaceWindow1;

I think you should enable the buttons.

button -label " " -enable 1 -vis 0;

You have to have them enabled in order to interact with them.

you might also have an easier time creating this type of layout with a formLayout - creating a whole set of disabled, invisible buttons will eventually get pretty unmanageable.

I agre with sunit on this one.
Look into formLayout.
