I bought iMovie so I could import a number of images and make a movie with it, but iMovie has a nasty way of adding a black strip along the sides. Let's just say iMovie is a real disappointment.
So I need to know if I render my images and import them into Motion or AE will I have the same problems? I thought these compositors would just crop the image if it was too large (like photoshop).
In Photoshop, I can create any size of page, then if I import an image it will either fit or be too big or small. Do either AE or Motion work this way? Why do some Editing and Compositing softwares stretch the image to fit?
