well since it seems ok to do a wip thread again here is my newer idea for the forum fun. I would really like some constructive crits about my technique more than anything . I know the pose needs work. here it is

the colours are not quite appropriate...
try some warm colours for the face...

:lightbulb I had this same idea earlier today.

I was going to do a more serious thing with it. Make pinnochio into a full mech child (ala Ghost in the Shell) with bits torn off, broken, battle damaged etc. He'd be slumped in an alleyway or some similar depressing environment. And with the text (written in a simple but tragic font) ...

"I want to be a real boy."

Too bad I already started on the Robin Hood pic. :D

I can't wait to see how your version turns out. Nothing to critic that hasn't already been said. :wip:
