I just started a new project.



I hate mosquito's so I wanted to make that absolutely clear :P.



I used my self ass reference (yes that’s me :P).

I made this in photoshop CS2 with a wacom intous 3 A4

original size : 3000 x 2500



comments and critics are more than welcome :).

Hi,
I like the image and the colors you have used.

I think itīs better if you define a lightsource because right now the light is coming from everywhere which is making it a bit flat. I also think you can create a scarier mood with proper lightning.

I also think there is a bit too much dead space around him. I understand that you have blurred the image to make the viewer focus on the mosquito and the character but itīs too much blurring I think. Maybe adding one of his arms or something could work.

Also, the left eye is a bit too small och also the ear is too small.
Right now he isnīt starring at the mosquito, maybe you should change that?
