Here is a pencil drawing that I did the other day but need help fixing the girls face on the left. Something is a bit off, and I have been looking at it too long to figure it out.

Thanks

I can see the images just fine. Try drag-n-drop with the first URL, it worked for me.

As for the faces ... I think you should find a few books on facial anatomy and structure. There are issues with perspective, proportion and technique in your drawings. Trying to point out each problem here would be quite an undertaking.

As a start though, you should try blocking out the head proportions first. The facial features on both girls appear to be sliding off or skewed from where they should be on the head.

The most obvious issue I see in both is the template eyes and tube necks. There is more geometry than what you have here for the eyes and neck. A good facial anatomy book will help you understand how these are constructed.

Keep working on it and don't get discouraged! :wip:

Thanks Kirt, This is my first attempt at drawing a "realistic" looking face and I have only put an hour or so into it. I have only been drawing a couple of months ago. I will deffinatly go get some books this weekend. Not so concerened about making things perfect right now because I will be going to college this fall, but I dont want my work to look like a five year old either.

I will put some more work into it over the weekend and post some updates then. Thanks again!
