View Full Version : Still: Title: Eye of the Beholder Style: Abstract
DiGItaLL_FR33k 01-08-2003, 01:32 AM I know the title isn't all that original but it fits this piece perfectly. I'd like some comments to see if I should change anything.

I really like it! Can you post how you did it? i.e. what program, techniques, etc.. This would be very nice to see for those who are interested in VFX work.
thx

I used Adobe Photoshop 7 and a Sony Mavica Digital Camera to take the photo that makes up the streaks and swirls. The original image was a set of blurred car lights. The "eye" in the vertex of the swirls is actually a pic of the "cat's eye galaxy" taken by the Hubble space telescope. The rest of the cloudy images took a long time. I did a lot of work with the clouds filter, liquify tool, multiple duplicate layers, and the blending modes. It was mostly artistic when it came to the cloud images. That should explain most of it. ^_^

That is a very cool image...
I would like a poster sized version above my bed at night...
I'd love to see it animated.
