RTT is the leading provider of visualization solutions for product design, marketing (brochures, movies, web-site, etc.) and sales (in-store kiosks, etc.). RTT USA is based in Los Angeles and Detroit with the holding company RTT AG in Munich (Germany) and offices in Hamburg, Stuttgart, Paris, Brussels, Frankfurt and Seoul. We are initially focussed on the automotive industry, and our client list includes BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Lamborghini, Maybach, Audi, Volkswagen and many more. Our business is also growing fast in the consumer electronics, aerospace and consumer goods industries.


SUMMARY

Our consultants work at our customers’ offices as well as at our offices in Detroit, Los Angeles and receive training both locally and globally. Working in consulting involves supporting our software customers by providing training and software implementation as well as carrying out product visualization projects (transforming CAD data files into life-like products in real-life environments). Furthermore, our consultants work closely with RTT’s own software development department to continuously improve our software’s capabilities. You will have to:

· Enjoy a challenging and demanding role juggling multiple projects simultaneously

· Travel

REQUIREMENTS:

· Interest in automotive, aerospace and consumer electronics, etc.


EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

· Candidates should have up to 5 years relevant experience.

· University degree in relevant field such as design, multimedia, etc.

· Experience with 3D content creation tools and/or CAD tools such as Alias Studio, Catia etc.

· 3D Skills in Maya and Alias

· Artistic understanding – a keen eye for colour, shape, & composition & can think easily in 3D terms


TECHNICAL SKILLS

· 3D Skills such as experience with 3D software (Maya, 3D Studio Max, etc.)

· Knowledge of Photoshop, after effects, 3D programming, media production software

· Modeling: nurbs and polygon modeling

· Texturing: UV texturing creation and allocating shaders

· Lighting: using conventional light sources and HDR images (IBL)

· Animation: technical animations/camera animations

· Data Preparation

· 2D Skills such as broadcast design, Photoshop, Shake and/or After Effects, pen tablets, Maya

· Knowledge of MS-Office
