the model looks cool. i really like the wrinkles on the skin. did you use maya for this project? and did you use a plugin for the wrinkles?

Have ears now.
xasteycracker yes I use MAYA, and no plugins where used. I started out making him with nurbs patches then when i was happy with the basic shape I converted him into polys.
Is there a plugin to do wrinkles?

It reminds me very much of the moon creature that someone else was working on. I think it was called that anyways.

:) That looks cool. I'm down with your idea, I was particularly into your face and torso from the front.

Still have a ton of painting to do. I need to lower the high lights a bit, he still has a wet rubber feeling but i'll tackel that once I get all the color on.

i think with wings this guy could be a great gargoyle.
Like it alot!, but maybe u could lessen the muslce definition on his arms? Since his stomach isnt very muscled, maybe it would look a little better if his arms wouldnt be muscled big, but just big

yes, I agree, wings would make him into a pretty sick gargoyle, that and maybe a tail of some sort..... :bounce:

It's looking great! Add some more variation in that color map though. Some greens and blues and maybe some blacker spots would add a lot to the texturing.
I know there is color variation, just add some more larger areas of differing color. I think it'll look great.

Face
cool model, i would personally make the eyes little smaller to the z-axis and the edges there darker, maybe change the color theme of the eyes itself (try black eye with dark green iris or something... )
excuse my english pls :)

The only thing bothering me right now is the clavicle (collar bone) above the pecs. They project too far. Other than that, looks good.
