Hi ix|reactor,
You should put the "cspolytools.mzp" file in your 'scripts' directory (usually C:/3dsmax/scripts).
Start max and open the utilities panel (the one with the hammer). Click on the 'MAXScript' button and a rollout will appear. Click on the 'Run Script' button. Select the file "cspolytools.mzp" in the file browser that opens.
The script will run and should install all the files in the right places. A message will inform you that the install has completed and that you should restart max.
Restart and then add the commands to a quad menu or tool bar whichever you prefer.
Note. You have to have 'Meshtools' installed for the 'csPolyTools' to work. If you've not got it, you can get from www.scriptspot.com.
Hope this helps.

Hi, does someone use csPolytools with 3ds max 5? Does it work without chrash?

Boa: I use some of the cs poly tools in 5, but it seems a bit unstable.
I have found that a combination between mesh tools, cspolytools and the new max5 features covers for some of the instability in these scripts...
KingVance: Don't be so jumpy, its not very clear the first time around.
ix|reactor : Just to give clear things up a little, mzp is a "max zip file" and it is esentially an installer. You can place the mzp file anywhere you want. Go to the maxscipt utility and "run" the mzp file from where ever you placed it.
It will extract all the files to the proper location.
Then you will need to setup your UI and add the tools to your menus/keyboard/etc.
Hope that helps

Yeah, I found that too. Meshtools v3 (without cspoly) seems to be stable.
