Hello again!
i have some trouble. i wounder if can do this in maya.
i have a scene. and i must use this scene to a 3d engine.
but now i have light sources in my scene! i wounder if i can
affect my textures some way, so that the shadows and all the light i have put in my scene will be saved in my default textures. so when i go into photoshop and load my textures i can se the shadows and religtning is this possible if it is how do i do it? :-)

Best Regards LobsterLeg

Like baking the lighting on the texture or something else?

In your hypershade, goto Edit>Convert to File Texture. There's an option for Bake Shading Group Lighting. That should do it at least if you're trying to bake. Like an ez bake oven. yummmmmm.

This is covered in the Maya docs, or if it's not there then there's a tutorial on the A|W site, I remember seeing it somewhere. Anyway there's an option in the polygons menu for doing this
